Since 2004 Henrico Federal Credit Union has invested in our community by creating 3 student run branches in three of our local high schools. The Wildcat Branch at Deep Run High School, the Warrior Branch at Henrico High School and the Panther Branch at Hermitage High School are taking on the task of teaching financial literacy by giving their students real life experiences.
These fully operational branches are available to students, faculty and staff at each of these schools during the regular school year. Each branch is staffed with trained students who are gaining real world work experiences and working with their peers to help teach and promote financial literacy.
This award-winning student credit union program has been called the “Cadillac” of all student branches, and has been used as the model for other student programs around the state. For more information about our student run branches and our FREE financial literacy programs for students, please contact Susan Epperson, Vice President of Retail at Henrico FCU.
