We are currently seeking an Accountant II for our West Broad location to administer the general financial records of the Credit Union, ensuring they are in compliance with GAAP and banking accounting principles. The Accountant II is responsible for ensuring records are accurately and meticulously maintained and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.
The successful candidate must demonstrate considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting. Must be able to compile reports and analyze accounts, effectively present information and provide feedback, calculate figures and apply concepts of basic business math, and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Knowledge of basic record keeping, general clerical functions, office policies and practices, and computer skills are required. Excellent skill with adding machines, Microsoft Excel, the Internet and use of other equipment supporting the accounting system. Strong analytical skills, dealing tactfully and courteously with staff and management is required. Must have a strong sense of self-direction and be able to successfully work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Must be detailed oriented, organized, accurate, dependable, honest, ethical and confidential in nature. Ability to perform with a significant level of trust, use of professional discretion and diplomacy is required.
Completion of a four-year degree in accounting, finance or a related field and a minimum of two years of accounting / bookkeeping experience is required (at least five years of experience is preferred); previous experience in a financial services environment is desirable (credit union experience preferred); or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a proactive and service driven professional to assist in the overall daily operations of our Laburnum Branch while assisting members with credit union products and services. The Assistant Branch Manager aids the Branch Manager in ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service and growth plans.
The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional service skills with a highly positive, flexible, service-oriented attitude to anticipate member needs and initiate assistance beyond duties assigned. Identifies opportunities to cross-sell products and services for the betterment of the member’s financial well-being. Provides informed, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates. Effective, well-developed communication and organizational skills, using tact and persuasiveness, are required. Ability to articulate clearly and with confidence, considerable skill in dealing tactfully and courteously with the public, along with strong active listening and service skills is a must. Ability to calculate figures, apply concepts of basic business math and knowledge of basic record keeping, general clerical functions, office policies and practices, and computer skills are required. Ability to enthusiastically handle a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and a demonstrated ability to coach and develop a highly trained and motivated team are required. Actively promotes an environment where Credit Union policies and procedures are carefully followed. Must be detailed oriented, organized, dependable, honest, ethical and confidential in nature.
Completion of a four-year high school education (or equivalent) and a minimum of two years financial sales or lending experience is required; two years of college coursework and/or five years of previous experience is preferred; supervisory experience is preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
