Henrico FCU is a member-owned financial cooperative seeking a dynamic Vice President of Information Systems to drive the technology initiatives within the credit union. Reporting to the President / CEO, this individual will oversee the management, implementation, and maintenance of the credit union’s computing systems and lead departmental staff. Information security protection, disaster recovery, vendor management, project management, recommendations for efficiency and the development / delivery of quality information processing services for both internal users and our members will be integral parts of this position.
The successful candidate must demonstrate considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of information systems, information technology and the laws governing the operation of a federally chartered credit union. This remarkable candidate must have direct experience successfully implementing and integrating technologies that deliver operational efficiencies and strong networking experience. Background in financial data processing systems is preferred.

A four-year college degree in information systems or a related field, with a minimum of four to six years of progressive information systems experience and a commensurate level of language, math, and reasoning skills is required. A minimum of three years of experience in a financial services environment preferred with direct credit union experience desired. Experience, certification or active knowledge of PC operating software / applications, recent Microsoft Server version and Active Directory are also required. Formal training should also be supplemented with documented continuing education.
